The regular mjeting of the County Commissioners called to order
at 8:05 P.M. by Chairman Pease.
Present: Coffin,Burgess,Pease,Hardy,Glidden.
Mr. Charles Sayles stated that the property abutting School St.
Surfside was to be improved and the now traveied road was partly o"{Ter
the boundry of this property. He suggested that the Supt. of Streets
be notified to do Whatever is necessary to allow travel in the road
where it belongs.
Voted: that the Supt of Street. be notified to C'Orrect the
situation.
The minutes of the last tneeting read and declared approved.
iOJ.LJt A plan of the area off Lower Pleasant St. taken for drainage
~l.J~' purposes presented. ^
Voted: to accept the plan and proceed with the taking,notifying
the abuttors. .
Deed for land taken in widening Lower Pleasant St. from Leroy

A letter from K.W.Dortnell,Commander 1st Coast Guard District,
1400 Custon HUuse,Boston re~esting permission to extend an, electric
power line approximately 1400 feet along Low Beach Road from the
terminus of the Power Company lines.
Voted:that the Corrunp.Bder be informed the Commi'Ssioners wish'
a formal petition. Forms may be obtained from the Nantucket
Gas & Power Company.
