the balance sheets and profit and loss comparisons through October 31, 2014 and November 30,

a good year although not as well as he expected, however the course was very busy.
b. Available Cash — Discussion: Rather than have excess cash sit in the bank all
winter, Mr. Savetsky suggested transferring part of the balance to the Land Bank to off -set
expenditures on the clubhouse renovation. After some discussion, upon a motion made and duly
seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to transfer $75,000 from Sconset Golfs account to the Land
Bank for use on the clubhouse renovation project.
c. Proposed 2014 Budget Discussion: Mr. Costa presented the draft 2015 budget
which reflected a modest increase in income which he projected in anticipation of the renovation of
the clubhouse but no increases in rates. The expenses were also projected to increase due in part to
increase is insurance, supplies, cost of goods sold and fuel. After some discussion, upon a motion
made and duly seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to approve the budget totaling $214,690
which includes an addition of $2,000 for water expense.

b. Bartering Discussion: Commissioner Bartlett asked for an accounting of the
various bartering agreements for 2014. Mr. Costa told the Commission there were three such
agreements in which the vendors received golf privileges in exchange for cleaning the carpets,
window cleaning, and winterizing the irrigation system, respectively. Mr. Costa said he felt that
overall MGC received a good value for the barters and Mr. Oberly said the irrigation barter was
particularly advantageous to MGC. After some discussion, upon a motion made and duly seconded,
it was VOTED to disallow all bartering agreements in 2015 with the exception of the irrigation
barter agreement. Commission Stackpole was opposed.
c. 2015 Proposed Rate — Discussion: Mr. Costa recommended a 5% increase for
membership fees to the legacy single and family membership in order to close the gap between their
rate and the regular membership rates. After some discussion, the Commission decided to leave all
rates at the 2014 levels as follows:
Upon a motion made and duly seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to approve the modified rate
