During May and June the tee times were used by 60% members and 40% non - members.
Further, July and August 95 -99% of the tee times were full and in June the tee times were
55% full. Mr. Costa said that gross golf and restaurant sales were up and MGC were able
to put $250,000 back into the course in capital improvements every year. Further, all
new initiation fees were put aside for a new clubhouse and the increases in dues and fees
would be put aside, which he estimated would be $200,000 this calendar year.

course while keeping golf affordable.
6. LAND BANK REPORT MIACOMET GOLF COURSE: Mr. Savetsky announced the
Commission had voted to add another million dollars to the designated fund for a new
clubhouse. The fund now has a total of $2.3 million in it. He reported the Commission
and MGC staff were working with a local architecture firm and were fine tuning
conceptual site plans of the clubhouse area. Further, they had formed a work group that
included Mr. Savetsky, Mr. Costa, Bill Cooper and Terry McGovern to advise on site
planning for the clubhouse, cart barn and ancillary buildings. He said the Commission
wanted to keep the current clubhouse open during construction and that this made the
task of situating the buildings harder. Mr. Savetsky stated the Commissioners were
working very hard and remained committed to having a new clubhouse, which he
estimated to cost between five and eight million dollars. Further, he hoped to have
conceptual plans by the end of the year and predicted ground breaking would be in two to
three years depending on the cost estimates. Mr. Savetsky informed the audience that the
Commissioners were in favor of hosting the LPGA tournament in September 2015
because it would put $750,000 per year into the designated clubhouse fund over the next
three years, but as yet a title sponsor had not been found. Mr. Savetsky answered various
questions regarding LPGA and clubhouse financing plans.
7. GOLF COMMITTEE UPDATE: Gene Briskman announced winners of the various
member tournaments and commended Golf Professional, Phil Truono on his adult and
