B. GOLF BUSINESS: Mr. Daniels referenced an email he sent to the Commission regarding an
anonymous poll of the membership committee about Miacomet hosting the proposed Ladies
Professional Golf Association ( "LPGA ") tournament. The results were nine in favor, two opposed
and three undecided. He explained that the two members opposed were concerned about not being
able to play on the course during the tournament, as well as the general chaos to the town from the
influx of visitors and competition with the wedding industry in the shoulder season.
Mr. Daniels departed the meeting at 11:08 a.m.
C. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Upon a motion made and duly seconded, it was unanimously VOTED
to go into executive session in order to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real
property, potential litigation and contract negotiation. Each member was polled individually. All
members voted yes. The Chairman declared that discussion of these matters in open session may be
detrimental to the Land Bank's negotiating position and that the Commission would reconvene in
regular session following executive session.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
D. REGULAR BUSINESS
1. Land Bank Logo — Discussion: Mr. Savetsky presented four variations of the proposed
logo to the Commission mounted on property posts as well as pictured in the field with greenery
behind it, as the concern was the white version might be too bright in the field. The consensus of the
Commission was the white was not a problem and all Commissioners present preferred the white
logo with a border. Mr. Savetsky said the final vote on the logo would be on the agenda for the next
meeting.
