Vice Chair: Barry Rector, Linda Williams- Bob DeCosta (arrived at 1:00 PM), Carol Damon, Ian Golding, David Barbara, Tam Kelley; Administrator: Glena Stokes- Scarlett REMOTE: MEMBERS ABSENT: AGENDA ITEM DISCUSSION VOTES / ROLL CALL CALL TO ORDER: Mr. Beaugrand called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM and stated that Mr. Branningan, Vice Chair will be chairing the deliberation meetings which has been the procedure in the past. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Mr. Rector made a motion to approve the agenda. It was seconded by Mr. Golding Mr. Brannigan congratulated and thanked Glena Stokes- Scarlett for creating a spreadsheet with all the information pertaining to the grant applications for FY' 15. Mr. Brannigan made a motion that Glenn Stokes- Scarlett be reimbursed for the lunch provided to the committee for deliberation meetings on November 8a' and 15a', it was seconded by Ms. Williams. A unanimous vote followed. Guest: None YES VOTES Nantucket Interfaith Council — Nantucket Rental Assistance Program - $130,000 — Janis Carreiro Positive Vote— 8 yes, 1 absent Ms. Williams made a motion to approve. It was seconded by Mr. Brannigan. Habitat for Humanity Nantucket— $295,000 —Steve Godwin First Congregational Church in Nantucket — Old North Vestry and Summer Church Restoration Project - $891,829 — William Waller Positive Vote — 7 yes 2 no. Ms. Williams made a motion to approve. It was seconded by Ms. Kelly. The COttin School Trustees, The Conservation of the Brick Fagade of the Historic Admiral Sir Isaac Coffin School - $322,470 — Jascin Leonardo- Finger Positive Vote -8 yes 1 no Ms. Williams made a motion to approve. It was seconded by Mrs. Damon St. Paul's Church in Nantucket — Completion of a new exterior vestibule, walkway, LULA lift and new stairway at St. Paul's Church - $395,600 — Dual Macintyre Positive Vote— 8 yes 1 abstained Mr. DeCosta made a motion to approve. It was seconded by Ms. Williams. Nantucket Island Land Bank — Sconset Golf course Clubhouse Restoration Project — $575,400 - Jesse Bell Positive Vote — 9 yes 0 no Mr. Beaugrand made a motion to approve. It was seconded by Ms. Williams. Nantucket Fireman's Association — Siasconset Fire Station Repairs - $135,000 — Nelson Eldrige Positive Vote -6 yes, 3 no Ms. Williams made a motion to approve. It was second by Mr. DeCosta. Museum of African American History — Restoration & Archaeology: Seneca Boston - Florence Higginbotham Site & Outbuildings — $416,458 - Diana Pamon Positive Vote - 8 yes, 1 no Ms. Williams made a motion to approve. It was second by Mr. Beaugmnd. $115,000 1 yes, 8 no 4. Nantucket Department of Public Works, Siasconset Rotary Flag Pole Historic Restoration - $65,000 — Diane Holdgate 1 yes, 8 no I. Old Business: Nobadeer Farm Field Discussion The committee would revisit the request for combining funds II. New Business: None III. Other Business: None In closing Mr. Brannigan thanked the committee for their thoughts, input, direction, and perception in getting through the 1' round of deliberations. Mr. Brannigan also asked that the decision and conversations of who is in/out remain in -house until it's final. Mr. Beaugrand thanked Glena Stokes - Scarlett for a job well done in getting all the material needed to the committee for the deliberation hearing(s) and that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
