Parking Permit Death Policy
• Some members suggested that if a permit holder passes away, then we should send
a letter and request that the deceased permit holder's permit be returned. However,
Mr. Rowland mentioned that it is an awkward thing to do and maybe somewhat
insensitive. Therefore, when a permit holder passes away, we will remove their
name from our database and not request that the permit is to be returned.
Update:
• Ms. Topham mentioned that the Stop &Shop reconfigured a portion of their
parking lot and now there is one less disabled parking space. Ms. McDonough will
visit the parking lot and see if they are in compliance with the 521 CMR.
• Ms. McDonough told the Commission members that she was invited to be on the
Dreamland's Advisory Board. Ms. McDonough was very impressed by all who
were involved in the Advisory Board.
• Ms. Snow has been enjoying the matinee open- captioning movies that the
Dreamland has been playing. She thanked Melissa Murphy for all the Dreamland's
efforts. Ms. Snow also mentioned that she would love to have an assisted listening
device at the Theater Workshop because it is difficult to hear live performances
there. Ms. Snow also mentioned that there is an assisted listening device at Bennett
Hall.
Executive Session: 4:00
Ms. Snow motioned to go into executive session to discuss the puking permit
applications, and not to return to the open meeting once the executive session is
adjourned, which Ms. Snell seconded, and Mr. Rowland, Ms. Topham, Ms.
Braginton- Smith, Ms. Snell, Ms. Snow, and Ms. Rezendes voted in favor of this
motion.
