Architect Kurt Raber; Jay Wertheimer, Phillip J Raneri, Linda Lynch, Gene Briskman, Jim
Botticelli and Charlie Williams ofthe Miacomet Go[jMembership Committee were also present
at call to order.
A. GOLF BUSINESS
1. Miacomet Golf Course ( "MGC ") — Discussion of Facilities Master Plan:
Commissioner Gardner summarized the recent work of the capital planning
committee and Mr. Raber presented two master plans for consideration,
explaining the reasoning behind the design elements for each set of plans.
Commissioner Bartlett suggested that club storage should be incorporated into the
cart barn and the Commission received positive comments from the MGC
Membership Committee members that were present. After much discussion, the
Commission expressed a preference for the two - building plan over the three -
building plan.
PJJoyner of the Miacomet GoljMembership Committee entered the meeting at 2:29 p.m.
Architect Kurt Raber departed the meeting at 2:59 p. m.
2. Sconset Golf Course ( "SGC ") — Repairs to Clubhouse and Maintenance
Buildings: Commissioner Gardner summarized the need for additional exterior
work on the buildings at SGC, including the reroofing of both buildings, as well
as repair /replacement of windows and sidewall shingling at the clubhouse. Upon a
motion made and duly seconded, it was VOTED to authorize Mr. Costa to issue
an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for all the aforementioned exterior work needed on
the buildings at SGC.
Jay Wertheimer, Phillip J Raneri, Linda Lynch, Gene Brisktnan, Jim Botticelli, Charlie Williams
and PJJoyner departed the meeting at 3:05 p.m.
B. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
1. Miacomet Beach Access Request — Nantucket Clambake Company: Ms. Bell
presented a request from Susan Warner of Nantucket Clambake Company for
vehicle access across the Land Bank's side of Miacomet Beach for an event on
Land Bank Commission
June 26, 2013

Friday, July 19, 2013 with 60 to 80 guests from 5 to 10 p.m. The Commission
discussed the appropriateness of such a large event at this location during the peak
summer season. Upon a motion made and duly seconded, the Commission
VOTED to deny vehicular access for all events on the Town's side of Miacomet
that have more than 50 guests.
ADJOURNMENT: Upon a' motion
