Important considerations for improvement of July 4 events at Nobadeer Beach et al:
One -way traffic east on Nonantum to Clifford, then north on Boulevarde
ID checks for all beachgoers
Many more porta- potties and trash barrels supplied by airport
Daily trash pick -up
Diane Lang's work with young colleagues on positive social networking
Cooperation from liquor stores
No alcohol in possession of underage groups
Other considerations which could be expensive:
Buses to transport beachgoers to and from parking limits
No alcohol on beach at all
ATV patrol and assistance on the beach
Careful assistance of departing beachgoers in the late afternoon
No trespassing on dunes
Expanded group of stakeholders for planning the event
Town Departments, i.e., Police, DPW, BMAC, Visitor Services, Airport, ASAP, Taxis, Buses,
neighbors
Vehicles not allowed on the beach
Capacity of beachgoers limited
