Because of Mrs. Van Lieu's illness, Mrs. Beck declared no quorum. Those present agreed to send to the
BOS a list of suggestions BMAC had compiled at the request of the BOS and the Chief of Police re:
improvements for the beach operations during the July 4th holiday.
Mr. Carlson reported that he did not anticipate changes in the Beach Driving brochure for 2012 and
would send it on to the printer. He also anticipated public hearings on island during the winter regarding
the Coastal Management proposals.
Mrs. Beck and Mrs. Lang will meet by the end of this year to discuss social networking among young
adult beach goers.
Mr. Carlson expects that the BOS and the Police will open discussions about the summer beach plans in
March or April. Until then BMAC will only schedule meetings when an issue arises.
