b. Additional Information Required: The Commission asked staff to request
additional information on the following transfers:
No. 315541. Richard Horowitz
No. 31576 Robert J. Slater Living Trust
2. Transfer Update:
a. Short Sale/Lien Compromise Request - 76 Goldfmch Drive Realty Trust: Ms. Bell
presented a summary of events leading up to the Land Bank's placing of a lien against the title to 76
Goldfinch Drive for the unreported transfer of beneficial interest which occurred in May of 2009.
She reported that the property had been on the market for some time and that Barre Savings Bank
had recently commenced foreclosure proceedings against the owner. Further, there was also a
pending short sale offer on the property which was acceptable to the bank but contingent upon the
Land Bank accepting a reduced payment of$10,000 on its outstanding lien. Ms. Bell recommended
that the Commission accept the proposal, as the Land Bank would receive nothing if the property
went to foreclosure. Upon a motion made and duly seconded, it was VOTED to accept a reduced
payoff on the lien and authorize the issuance of a release to be provided to the purchaser's attorney
or their designee when the deed and payment comes through the Land Bank prior to recording.
E. FINANCIAL BUSINESS:
1. Monthly Transfer Statistics: Monthly transfer statistics reports comparing fiscal years
2010 and 2011 through March 2011 were presented to the Commission.
2. Warrant Authorization - Cash Disbursements: Upon a motion made and duly seconded, it
was VOTED to execute the April 12, 2011 warrant document in the amount of$III,347.60 to be

of work performed by property management staff since the last meeting, including Phragmites

fencing and cleared brush at Sesachacha Pond; transplanted cedar trees along Myles Reis's
entrance on Industry Road; and removed posts and tilled soil on the Wolfe property with plans to
install plants and shrubs there later this month. Further, Mr. Pollock reported that the irrigation
system had been installed at the playing field and labyrinth on the Holdgate property and that staff
had successfully completed five bums at Smooth Hummocks, Eastern Moors, Gardner property and
Sanford Farm.
2. Nantucket Fire Department Explorers 99 Program: Mr. Pollock informed the Commission
