Call to Order at 4:45 PM: Members present: Fred Holdgate(in the chair), Mr. Blount, Mr.
Rank, Ms. McCrae, and Mr. Smith

Ethics Test: Fred reminded everyone to take the state ethics test, print it OUt,'and take it to

Marine Department Report:
Commercial scalloping: The bushel count is up to 6766 bushels as of today. Ms. Riley
reported that at the next meeting, she will have a report for the upcoming propagation season.
Comment on Marine Department Report: Mr. Smith mentioned that he had heard
reports on seed out at Bigelow's in Madaket via Warren P. and that seagulls were diving on it.
He recommended that Ms. Riley call Spanky to take her out to check on the situation.

Old Business:
Progress on Shellfish Management Plan: Mr. Herr reported on the progress that the SMP
committee had made-items that were mentioned: revision of the recreational questionnaire,
hardship licenses, and the need for development of procedure to follow for "closures".
SHAB elections: Ms. McCrae announced that she is excited that there is a "race" for the seat
on the SHAB committee.
