Agenda:
Mr. Rowland stated, by unanimous consent we are adopting the
agenda.
Minutes:4:06 p.m.
October 12, Open Meeting:
Ms. Topham motioned to amend
October 12th minutes to include Mr. Gray was in attendance,
which Mr. Gray seconded, and all the remaining present
Commission members, with the exception of Mr. Moran who did
not attend October’s meeting, voted in favor of this motion.
October 12, Executive Session:
Ms. Braginton-Smith motioned to
approve October 12th minutes for executive session, which Mr.
Gray, seconded, and all the remaining present Commission
members, with the exception of Mr. Moran who did not attend
October’s meeting, voted in favor of this motion.

Parking Permit Policy:
The Commission members discussed the parking permit policy suggestions.
All the members agreed to the new policy, which will take effect immediately.

Update
Pacific National Bank
The members discussed Mr. Legg’s letter in the newspaper concerning his fall
on the steps of Pacific National Bank. Ms. McDonough said that she plans to
write a letter to the president of Bank of America about Pacific National’s
lack of signage indicating where the accessible entrance is located. She will
include all the correspondence that the Commission has had with the bank
over the years concerning signage and a policy for accommodating disabled
clients. She will also include all the correspondence to and from the AAB and
the bank, and Mr. Legg’s letter to the editor about his fall.
Mr. Willauer requested that the time of the meeting should be included in the
minutes and on the agenda.

Ms. Topham will follow up on the Boys and Girls Club parking lot.
Ms. Rezendes informed the Commission that she tripped over one of the stone
parking curbs in the hospital parking lot. She was wondering if the hospital
would consider painting these stone curbs a contrasting color so that they are
easily identifiable. Ms. McDonough will contact the hospital and request that
they paint or stripe these parking curbs.
Ms. McDonough will contact the DOJ concerning the post office door.
Mr. Rowland will look at the ramp to the Hy-Line vessels.
Executive Session: 4:40 p.m
.
Mr. Rowland stated that the Commission would not reconvene after the
executive session. A vote was taken to go into executive session to discuss
parking permit applications, and Mr. Rowland, Ms. Braginton-Smith, Ms.
Topham, Ms. Rezendes, Mr. Gray, Mr. Moran, and Mr. Willauer voted in
favor to go into executive session.
