Minutes of the meeting of September 20,2010: The meeting took place at 5pm at
2 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket, MA 02554.
Members Present: Dorothy Hertz, chair., Linda Barrett, sec., John Belash, Augie
Ramos, Mary Wawro, Linda Williams (5:22pm)
Members Absent: Sue Marques
Staff Present: Maryanne Worth
Members of the Public: None
I. Called to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5: 11 pm.
II. Quorum: A quorum was established.
III. Approval of the Agenda/Minutes: Both the agenda and the minutes of
Spetember 14, 2010 were unanimously approved.
IV. Public Comment: There was no public comment.
V. Action/Discussion: The power point presentation to the BOS will be presented
by John Belash with the help of Mary Wawro. Copies of this presentation and the
report will be available to the public at the BOS meeting on September 22nd as we
are on their agenda for that meeting. The power point which is very simplified
and clear was gone over. A Motion made by Linda Williams to approve the
report "Back to Basics" with corrections was seconded and unanimously voted in
favor. The CHS will present the report to the BOS at their next meeting, on
September 22,2010 at 6pm in the 2nd floor cOUliroom in the Town building on
Broad Street.
VI. New Business: No new business was discussed.
Adjourned: The meeting adjourned at 6:03pm.
