Minutes of the meeting of Sept. 14,2010: The meeting took place at 4pm
at 2 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket, MA 02554.
Members Present: Linda Barrett, sec., Augie Ramos, Mary Wawro, Linda
Williams, Sue Marques (4:38pm), Dorothy Hertz, chair. (5:03pm)
Members Absent: John Belash
Members of the Public: Whitey Willauer (BaS)
1. Meeting called to order: 4:14pm
II. Quorum: A quorum was established.
III. Approval of Agenda: Agenda was unanimously approved, order
changed.
IV. Public Comment: No public comment.
V. Action/Discussion: Mary's mini report has expanded and will now
become the report. Discussions of what would be placed where were
held. The appendix will not be ready by the 15th but will be given to the
BaS on September 21,2010. A public hearing will be held at 2
Fairgrounds on September 30t\ and if need be, a supplement to the "Back
to Basics" report will be done and given to the BaS.
4:38pm Sue Marques came to the meeting.
Discussion centered on the contract review process.
4:55pm Linda Williams left the meeting.
5:03pm Dorothy Hertz came to the meeting.
The Council continued discussing and refining the report.
5: 12pm Whitey Willauer left the meeting, came back at 5: 15pm.
5:30pm Whitey Willauer left the meeting.
Mary and Maryanne will be adding the evaluation criteria to the new
report as it has not yet been added from the old one.
A Motion was made by Mary Wawro and seconded by Sue Marques to:
approve what has been written and have Mary and Maryann add the two
sections that are missing with ratification to be made afterwards if
necessary. Dorothy Hertz was the only member to vote against this
motion, the motion passed.
Minutes of the meeting of September 10, 2010 were unanimously
approved.
