Gentlemen:
In reference to your request for a recommendation from the
Right of Ways Committee regarding the set-off area for propogation
of shellfish by a grant from the Town of Nantucket, it is the
consensus of this Committee that this request is beyond the scope
of the Right of Ways Committee.
For your information, after much discussion, the Committee
voted three to two with one 'abstention in favor of a shellfish
propagation proyram.
However, there was great concern by members of the Committee
regarding the restrictive use of Public Waters for such a purpose.
