The meeting opened with the members reviewing June's minutes, which were
unanimously approved.

Accessibility Hotline: ~ ;.., ~
. Mickey wondered if the Commission could set up some kind of@cessibilBt
hotline where the public can contact us with their accessibility ~cerns. We
could publicize our hotline (e-mail or phone number) in variousJUblicatici;; such
as: Chamber Guide Book, Travel and Leisure Brochure, Yesterday's Islan~

Phone Books...
. Linda suggested that we should establish a link on the Town's web site
COD's Meetings
. The Commission voted to reduce the number of meetings per year to six. These
are the months that the Commission voted to meet: February, March, May, June,
September, and November. Any meeting that must be rescheduled, it will be
rescheduled for December
New and Renovated Commercial Structures
. Linda suggested that the Commission should be listed on the Planning Board's
Coordinated Review List so that we can review any new or renovated commercial
structures for accessibility compliance. I was asked to contact Leslie and see if
this is possible. Linda suggested that we review Westmore, Cliffside, and Harbor
House building and renovation plans.
. It was also suggested to contact Bernie Bartlett so Mickey can review every
commercial structure before receiving a building permit.
Other Business
. Linda wondered if the airport could make an accommodation when the automatic
doors are not operating due to high winds etc.
. Linda requested that I contact CORD about a CART reporters.
