The regular meeting of the Nantucket Conservation Commission was called
to order at 7:30 PM by Chairman C. Borchert. Members present: P. Bennett,
G. Burchell, C. Pearl, B. Richmond, A. Silva and P. Waine. Members absent:
C. Borchert and A. Silva.
1. Minutes of the meeting of June 16, 1983~ A motion was made and seconded to
accept the minutes as typed. There was no opposition.
2. Mr. McCalley - Request for Determination - Galen Avenue. G. Burchell moved
to accept the recommendation of the field inspection team to issue a negative
Determination. C. Pearl seconded the motion. B. Richmond abstained from voting.
There was no oppos tion.
3. DEQE - Superseding Determination - Mr. Glowacki. Acting Chairman P. Bennett read
the Determination. The Commission voted to place the letter on file. There was
no opposition.
4. Board of Selectmen _ Emergency Sewer Beds. Acting Chairman P. Bennett read a
letter concerning an emergency situation being declared by the Board of Selectmen
act~ng as the Board of Health. The Commission voted to forward a letter to the
Board stating its approval for the project has previously been granted. There was
no opposition.
5. Bills. B. Richmond moved to pay the following bills:
Mass. Association of Conservation Commissions
$60.00 - membership dues
The motion was seconded. There was no opposition.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:49 PM.
