Present: Andrew Vorce, John Stackpole, Jack Gardner, Alan Brown, Mark WilliaiHs,
John Pagini and former member Don Visco. V1
In the absence of an elected chairman there was a:
Motion made, seconded and voted unanimously to elect Andrew Vorce Chairman until
such time as a reelection was called. It was noted that John Stackpole was the elected Secretary.
The list of recommendations made to the town at the last scheduled meeting was reviewed
and the following was reported on 1 through 8.
1. Eel Point road - Done.
2. Warren1s Landmg - Plan through Fisher's Landing being worked on - Survey bid aprox
$ 9 Ann

3. Millbrook - Some portions accepted, we need to have this more actively pursued.
4. South Shore Rd. - Town Land, should take offiist.
5. Lovers Lane - Done.
6. Nobadeer - Done.
7. Clifford St. - Needs action.
8. SomersetlFriendship - Needs action.
The following was reported on recommendations A through G made to the Selectmen for
road takings.
A. Pocomo Rd. - May be Town owned, Andrew will look into it.
B. Hoicks Hollow - Not done.
C. Navy Base Rd. - Town Land, no action needed at this time.
D. The Boulevard - Needs Action.
E. Washing Pond Rd. - Needs Action
F. Bartlett to Raceway - Needs Action
G. Raceway to Somerset - Needs action. Combine F and G as single project.
A motion was made, seconded and voted to make the following recommendation to the
County Commissioners: To take the following roads, With #1 being highest priority.
1. Appleton Road
2. Somerset from Friendship to pavement.
3. Washing Pond.
4. Jefferson, Henry, Johnson as one project.
5. Hoicks Hollow.

A motion was made, seconded and voted to request a line item budget from the County
Commissioners of the Selectmen for $ 2,500.
A motion was made and seconded to meet once per month on the 4th Wed at 6 PM in the
Land Bank Meeting room.
It was noted that the following roads need to be taken in Madaket in order to finish the
work started there. Tennessee Ave., Oakland Ave., H Street and Cambridge St.
It was requested that we get a map ofthe road takings for next meeting. Andrew will look
into it.
