Minutes of the Meeting of the Auto Limitations Study Committee of December 12,
2006. The meeting took place in the conference room of the Town and County
Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the committee
present: Whitey Willauer, Matt Fee, Nat Lowell, Christine Silverstein, Paula Leary
Mike Burns, Alan Brown and John Wagley. Jack Gardner, also attended.
Call to Order. The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m.
Approval of Minutes from the November 14. 2006 and December 5.2006
MeetinQs. Mr. Fee moved approval of the minutes from the November 14, 2006
and December 5, 2006 meetings with an amendment that Mr. Lowell was absent
at the December 5, 2006 meeting; seconded by Mr. Brown. So voted.
John Wagley presented the committee with a letter regarding resident parking in
the core district, that it is impossible for core district residents to find parking
places from 6:30 p.m. to 11 :00 p.m. and suggests core district residents be able
to purchase a three-month sticker enabling them to park at the entrances to their
own driveways.
Finalize Recommendations. The committee reviewed the recommendations and
presentation that will be made to the Board of Selectmen on December 20,2006.
Mr. Burns and Ms. Leary will make agreed upon changes and present a final
presentation to the committee on December 13, 2006.
Other Business. There was no other business before the committee.
Adiournment. Mr. Burns moved adjournment at 3:34 p.m.; seconded by Mr. Fee.
So voted.
