Meeting opens at 4:10pm.
Police Chief William Pittman attends the meeting to review his plans for beach this
coming summer.
Realizes that the beach patrol needs to be more closely supervised and will more involved
in the A TV training.
There are new A TV s in the fleet that should help shift changes be more efficient.
Last summer several of the A TV s were out of service and as a result there was a
shortage of police presents.
Chief would like to streamline the permitting process and consider online sales with
a discount as an incentive.
Next year NPD will consider having an A TV on Tuckemuck Is. to provide quicker
response time during the summer months.
Other business
Jeff Carlson gave an update on Memorial Day weekend.
As usual Nobadeer was active and there were trash issues which the DPW responded to.
Land Bank: had not opened the new parking area at Nobadeer where a telephone pole has
been laid down across the entrance.
Colin spoke about beach clean up organized for the coming weekend.
Edie's daughter has suggested a one way on / one way off set up for the congestion
problems at 40th Pole. g
