NANTUCKET REGIONAL TRANSIT AUfHORITY
Minutes of the Meeting of December 20,2006. The meeting took place in the
court room of the Town and County Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA
02554. Members of the Board present were: Whitey Willauer, Brian Chadwick,
Douglas Bennett, Michael Kopko and Catherine Stover. Chairman Willauer
called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Public Comment. There was no public comment.
Approval of Minutes from AUQust 23. 2006. The Board approved the minutes of
the August 23, 2006 meeting by unanimous consent.
Announcement of Disabled Representative to NRTA Advisory Board. Paula
Leary, NRTA Administrator, announced that Mickey Rowland has been
appointed, by the Town Administrator, as the non-voting disabled representative
on the NRTA Advisory Board, as required by recent legislation. Mr. Rowland will
join the Board in 2007. Chairman Willauer welcomed and congratulated Mr.
Rowland.
Other Business. Ms. Leary informed the Board that Jo Godwin recently resigned
from the NRTA's Consumer Advisory Committee. The vacancy will be
advertised. The Board concurred that a letter be sent to Ms. Godwin thanking
her for her service on the Consumer Advisory Committee.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:03 p.m.
