MINUTES
Tuesday April 13, 2021
This meeting was held via remote participation (using ZOOM recording
feature) Pursuant to Governor Baker's March 12, 2020 Order Regarding the
Open Meeting Law.
I. Procedural Business
Call to order: This meeting was conducted via Zoom and called to order by Chris Young,
Chairman, at 9:03 am. This meeting was recorded on Zoom video.

limit. Welcome to discuss with SAC.
Concerned this will have a domino effect.

Association- move to the next meeting.
• Discussed if modifying guidelines- my want to go thru changes, address window signage,
advertise a special meeting. Add an agenda item for future review of guidelines.
• Next Sign Advisory Council meeting- Tuesday April 20, 2021 at 9:00am

General Comments/Recommendations:
Young- questioned lighting. Low profile side lights. Hanging sign would be too low.
Kuester- letters not appropriate. Suggests using frame for letters like pharmacy across the street.
Lighting not a good solution. Master Sign Plan inquiry.
Cutone- mix of signage on building. No problem with this. They will light sign, regardless. Prefer black
lettering, far back from the road. Will have minimal impact. The street view indicates a quarter board at
existing location.
Wolf- no comment.

General Comments/Recommendations:
Ramos- revised the size. Submitted other pictures of business' that have wall signs facing Old South
Road. Says hedge blocks the front door. 26 3/4 is the height of the sign to the arc.
Kuester- size needs to be verified. Suggests like before that sign be by the entrance. The sign would fit.
Maybe a projecting sign. Not appropriate as proposed. Would like to see an accurate drawing of the
sign.
Cutone- no comment.
Wolf- agrees with Kuester. Suggests hanging sign over the porch.
Young- keep signage close to entry way. Projecting sign would be 4 square feet. Suggested a hanging
sign. Sign size and location need to be documented. ** approvable hanging from the porch. Would like
a mock up whether it be between the window or hanging from the porch to have on record

Kuester- appreciates the new design. lettering should state painted .
