II. NPS Parent Survey Responses to date
A. Data collected to date reviewed - very preliminary
B. 653 Students represented by respondents - 27% NIS students
C. Across district 72.4% said "Yes" to a return to school. 22.8% "Unsure"
D. If remote learning across district 72.7% will attend. 19.8% "Unsure"
E. If hybrid model across district 68.1% will attend. 24.8% "Unsure'
III. NPS Reopening Planning
A. Different NPS Task Force groups and work described
B. DESE Fall Reopening FAQ shared and discussed
C. Invitation to NPS Parent/Community Advisory Committee shared
1. Erin Carson volunteered to be a parent representative for NIS
D. Student Forum Group Discussed
1. Suggestion made to reach out to student class representatives who
worked to develop whole school rules/expectations
IV. NIS School Handbook
A. Annual task of revising the NIS Family Handbook discussed
B. Team divided up the handbook for review
NIS 2019-2020 Family Handbook
1. Chapter 1: E. McNeil
2. Chapters 2 - 5: T. Canty, J. Murtagh, E. McNeil
3. Chapters 6 - 9: E. Carson, C. Seal, D. Coyle
