Procedural Business Call to order: This meeting was conducted via Zoom and called to order by Chris Young, Chairman,at 9:01am. This meeting was recorded on Zoom video. Attending members: Kevin Kuester, Chris Young, Paul Wolf Absent members: Ben Normand, Late arrivals: Mark Cutone at 9:08 am Early Departures: Paul Wolf at 9:55 am Motion to Adopt Agenda made by Paul Wolf; Seconded by Kevin Kuester. Roll Call vote carried unanimously//Wolf,Kuester, Cutone and Young- aye. Approval of Minutes: N/A II. Public Comment- none III. Kuester- Issue not allowing sign where there is not an entrance. Building not properly designed to handle signage- does not like precedent. Understands the business need. Cutone- No concerns. agree need MSP Wolf- Thought the SAC asked for Master Sigh Plan Young- Requested to open 63AOSR. Submit one application showing both signs. The dimensions on the app 25"x 50" is fine Kuester- should be same size as 63B OSR Cutone- concerned about material. Feels what is there now is temporary Wolf- no concerns Motion to Approve with condition that a Master Sign Plan to identify the four sign locations and their sizes be submitted made by Cutone; seconded Kuester. NIR 14 Federal Street wall sign 42.3.1-26 Anna Jay Representing-Anna Jay, store owner Kuester-not in accordance with the guidelines. Will take a view Cutone- should comply with sign above- organize proportion like Sustainable Nantucket. Needs better Picture of site and more information Wolf- agrees with what has been said Young-maybe an alternate location at site. Maybe a quarterboard. May need a Master Sign Plan Motion to Hold for Revisions and more information:Wolf; seconded by Cutone 17. Swim Across America Various Locations temporary banner N/A Maria Zodda Representing-Maria Zodda, temporary July-August, due to Covid 19 Pandemic and the event being canceled. Would like to be near foot traffic. Kuester-no concerns since temporary Cutone- only concerned adding a sign to a saturated signage area. Maybe Town Pool better location. Wolf- might have other signs at Town Pool. No concerns, otherwise Young- off premise signage with other non-profits. Hope not to see precedent Consider COVID pandemic Motion to Approve with documentation of logo dates July 1, 2020-August 31,2020 at 31 Easy Street Kuester; seconded Wolf. Carried 4-0//Kuester,Wolf, Cutone and Young-aye 18. Swim Across America Various Locations display posters N/A Maria Zodda Representing-Maria Zodda, temporary July-August, due to Covid Pandemic and the event being canceled. No definite business window to use. Young-poster signs-temporary sign,revise application to 11" x 17".Apply for two that would allow you to use other locations Cutone- no concerns Wolf- no concerns Motion to Approve by modifying size to 11" x 17" and to use 2 locations made by Cutone; seconded made by Kuester Carried 4-0//Kuester, Cutone and Young- aye 19.
