“SPECIAL” MEETING
NANTUCKET PLANNING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
6:30 PM, MONDAY, SEPT. 14, 2009
2 FAIRGROUNDS ROAD
7 Members Present: Rick Atherton, Sylvia Howard, Nat Lowell, John McLaughlin,
Barry Rector, Don Visco, Linda Williams
Staff Present: Andrew Vorce, T.Michael Burns, Jeromette Hicks
Audience: None
I. Call to Order Chairman Lowell called the meeting to order at 6:35 PM
II. Establishment of Quorum The Chairman declared a quorum was present.
III. Approval of Agenda The motion was made by Barry Rector and seconded that
the NP&EDC does hereby approve the agenda of Sept. 14, 2009.
The vote was unanimous.
IV. Public Comment - None
V. Action / Discussion Items
A. Discussion: FFY 2010 – 2013 TIP Public Hearing (No Public Comments)
BOS voted to recommend the NP&EDC approve the draft TIP.
There will be a “Special Meeting” on Sept. 28th @ 6:30 PM for the TIP.
No action from the NP&EDC was necessary at this meeting.
VI. Transportation Planner’s Report
VII. Other Business
NP&EDC Oct. 5, 2009 meeting will be @ 6:00PM
It will be a joint meeting with the BOS
The Oceans Plan will be on the agenda
A link to the Oceans Plan will be e-mailed out to the Commissioners.
Also on the Oct. 5th agenda:
In-Town Bike Path
Consultant Joe Farrell
VIII. Adjournment
The motion was made by John McLaughlin and seconded that the NP&EDC
does hereby vote to adjourn the meeting.
The vote was unanimous.
The Chairman adjourned the meeting @ 7:00PM.
