Call to order: Chairman Barry Rector called the meeting to order at 7PM II. Approval of the agenda: A motion was made to approve the agenda, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. III. Minutes: ƒ August 25, 2008 ƒ September 8, 2008 A motion was made to approve the minutes of August 25, 2008 and September 8, 2008 with modifications to both minutes, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. IV. ANR: ƒ #7167 Edward S. Bent & Deborah F. Monticello, Trs., Bent Shimmo Nominee Trust, 2 South Valley Road (Map 43 Parcel 165) ƒ #7168 Dickie Investments Limited Partnership and Elizabeth Coffin Allerhand, 1 Weymouth Street and 47 Union Street (Map 55.1.4 Parcels 30 & 55.1.4-1 ƒ #7169 Donald E. Dimock, 54 Bartlett Road (Map 66 Parcel 100) A motion was made to approve and endorse all of the ANR plans in accordance with the staff recommendation, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. VI. Second Dwellings: ƒ 2 Ipswich Street, Michael Getter & Anne Becker (Map 76.4.1 Parcel 162) ƒ 1 Brinda Lane, John Van Hoven (Map 67 Parcel 315.1) A motion was made to approve and endorse all of the second dwellings in accordance with the staff recommendation, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. VII. Previous Plans: ƒ #6995 Nancy’s Lane Subdivision, 9 Millbrook Road, endorse legal documents & plans ƒ #6960 Finback, Bartlett Road, endorse legal documents A motion was made to approve and endorse the legal documents and plans for both file #6995 and #6960, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. Public Hearings: ƒ #7084 WB Nantucket Holdings, 3 Arrowhead Drive, action deadline 10-30-08 (CONTINUED TO 10-16- 08) ƒ #7164 Hiawasse Lane Subdivision Modification #1, off Cato Lane, action deadline 12-27-08 (Note: Draft decision) Representing: None. Board members reviewed and discussed draft decision. A motion was made to approve with modifications as discussed and endorse the decision and sign in the office, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. ƒ #7166 Alan B. & Patricia C. Myers, Kelley Road, action deadline 12-24-08 (Note: Draft decision) Representing: Paul Santos. Mr. Santos briefly discussed that he submitted a plan known as “Kelley Road Right of Way Clearing Exhibit Plan dated September 17, 2008”. He asked if the Board will include plan to the final decision. Chairman Mr. Rector opened the floor to the public. No comments were made. A motion was made to close the public hearing, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. A motion was made to approve the decision and add plan “Kelley Road Right of Way Clearing Exhibit Plan dated September 17, 2008” and sign decision in the office, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. ƒ #43-08 John F. Trudel, III, 3A Sun Island Road, action deadline 12-21-08 Representing: Paul Jensen. The applicant is proposing the construction of three (3) additional single family detached dwellings with a total of five (5) additional bedrooms to complement an existing two (2) bedroom single family detached dwelling on site. Chairman Mr. Rector opened the floor to the public. No comments were made. John West activated. A motion was made to open the public hearing, duly seconded and voted 5-0 in favor. A motion was made to have staff write a positive decision and sign in the office, duly seconded and voted 5-0 in favor. IX. Cooney III, 19 West York Lane (Map 55 Parcel 335) ƒ #56-08 Murat Aslansan, 1 Brock’s Court (Map 42.3.4 Parcel 85) ƒ #60-08 Eighty Two Orange, LLC, 82 Orange Street (Map 55.1.4 Parcel 23) ƒ #61-08 Paula Driscoll as applicant, Raymond F. Ross and Lois K. Ross as Owner, 15 Old South Road (Map 67 Parcel 14.1) ƒ #62-08 Matthew and Julie Richardson, 22 Hussey Street (Map 42.3.4 Parcel 97) ƒ #63-08 S. Ward Casscells III and Roxanne B. Casscells, 3 North Gulley Road (Map 73.1.3 Parcels 7 & 5.9) The Planning Board voted 4-0 to re-send its recommendation for #54-08 and #56-08, and that the rest of the ZBA files shown above were not of Planning Board concern, duly seconded and voted 4-0 in favor. X. Other Business: ƒ Discussion of 41-81D Master Plan The Board members had a brief discussion of the draft 41-81D Master Plan page 18 regarding first paragraph only (future vision of Nantucket). Board members gave inputs in what they would vision Nantucket to look like in the future. Mr. Vorce requested that they give him feedback regarding their discussion on this by tomorrow (September 24, 2008) by noon. XI. Public Comments: XII.
