I. Call to Order

III. Approval of Minutes….Corrected and Approved
IV. Public Comment on Non Agenda Items….None
V. Discussion and Action
A. Discussion: Plan for MTC 10:00 AM conference call regarding the Black
and Veatch Wind Energy Feasibility Study
Action : Anne will be responsible for this
B. Discussion: High School Wind Turbine Update . Barbara Gookin reported
the High School Wind Turbine is on target for Fall 2010 operation
C. Discussion : DPU–National Grid proposed rate increases
D. Discussion: Proposal of Vineyard Nantucket Energy Plan
Action: Robert Patterson will be contacted for input on this proposal
E. Discussion : Clean Energy Conference Boston MA , November 12 and
13, 2009 attended by Carl Borchert
Action : Carl passed out a complete Executive Summary to each of us .
Carl will present this summary at The NPEDC meeting the evening of
December 6, 2009 at the Fairground Road Conference Center
VI. Other Business from Committee Members
A. Discussion: Carl and Sandra reported on their meeting with Chief of
Police Pittman ( Held today, Dec. 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM in his office ).
The discussion centered on the Chief’s dissatisfaction with the Hybrid
Cruiser he did purchase. He is open to new and future Hybrid cruisers
and he is on top of these advances being made as are Carl and Sandra.
The Chief also discussed the New Police Station’s 5 year Solar
Plan. Carl offered to help him this winter with solar and wind grants and
rebates.

B. Other Business from Committee Members
1. Sandra Welsh asked that Energy 101 and a review of the Parking Lot
of Ideas be reviewed at our January meeting
C 1. Barbara Gookin suggested that Other Business from Committee
Members should not be included in our minutes.
No discussion or action was taken on Barbara’s suggestion at this time.
VI. Adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 5:08 PM
