Absent – Peter Morrison, and Board of Selectmen Liaison , Brian Chadwick
I. Call to Order
II. Establish a Quorum
III. 5:00 PM Conference Call with Black and Veatch; Wind Turbine
Transportation Study.
A. Discussion
B. Action- Contact Consultants regarding Turbine /Avian studies : Mike
Burns will contact Bob Kennedy and Mr. Vaschon / Massachusetts
Environmental Protection Agency
IV. Approval of the Minutes….No minutes were read
V. Public Comment…..None
VI. Discussion Wind Energy White Paper… Whitey
VII. Discussion of HDC Green Guidelines…..Mike
Mike reported the draft addendum was finished, but he did not know the status
of it ….. Weather it was approved or not by the HDC
VIII. Discussion of The Hybrid Police Cruiser report……Carl
Action…Carl will make suggested minor revisions and bring the corrected
report to the October Energy Committee meeting for final approval. If
approved it will be forwarded to BOS / Libby before sharing with others
IX. Discussion of the Open Meeting Law and letter pertaining to same from
Libby Gibson
X. Discussion / Memo…..The Special Town Meeting Sept 21, 2009
XI. Other Business From Committee Members.
A. Chairman Gookin reminded us of the Sept 14, 2009 meeting at 1:30 PM
at The Old South Road Conference Room. Rep. Tim Madden and the
Director of the Green Communities Act will speak.
XII. The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM
