Minutes of the Site Visit of 28 April 2010 at 12:00 PM. The site visit took place at the intersection of
Bunker Road and Old Road (aka Madequecham Valley Road), Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of
the Commission present were Rick Atherton, Brian Chadwick, Michael Kopko, and Patricia
Roggeveen. Whiting Willauer was absent. Also present were Planning Director Andrew Vorce,
Executive Assistant to the Town Manager Erika Mooney, surveyor Leo Asadoorian, Allen Reinhard,
and Richard Cooper. Chairman Chadwick called the site visit to order at 11:58 AM.
Site Visit to View Areas of Layouts for New Roads: Industrial Road and Trap House Road; and
Discontinuance of Portion(s) of New South Road.
Chairman Chadwick explained the purpose of the site visit is to view the layout of Industrial Road
and Trap House Road. Mr. Asadoorian reviewed the staked area with the Commissioners as well
as the layout plan and the discontinuance of a portion of New South Road, noting the travelled way
will be 22 feet within a 40 foot layout. Mr. Vorce reviewed industrial lots A, B, C, D, and E. The
Commissioners discussed changing the proposed names of the new roads.
The site visit was unanimously adjourned at 12:09 PM.
