COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Minutes of the Meeting of 16 December 2009. The meeting took place in the Court Room, Town
and County Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Commission present
were Brian Chadwick, Michael Kopko, Allen Reinhard, and Patricia Roggeveen. Rick Atherton was
absent. Chairman Chadwick called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM.

PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
Public Hearing to Consider Applications for Nantucket Representative of Wood’s Hole, Martha’s
Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority. Chairman Chadwick noted H. Flint Ranney is the
only applicant for the Nantucket Representative of the Wood’s Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and
Nantucket Steamship Authority (SSA), and is reapplying for a three year term. Ms. Roggeveen
moved to suspend the usual appointment process and appoint Mr. Ranney as Nantucket’s
Representative of the SSA; seconded by Mr. Reinhard. All in favor, so voted.

The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:04 PM.
