COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Minutes of the Meeting of 2 December 2009. The meeting took place in the Court Room, Town and
County Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Commission present
were Rick Atherton, Brian Chadwick, Michael Kopko, Allen Reinhard, and Patricia Roggeveen.
Chairman Chadwick called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM.

PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
COMMISSIONERS REPORTS/COMMENTS
Request for Vote to Re-appropriate $700,000 Appropriation from Corrections Deeds Excise for
Public Safety Facility as an Appropriation Establishing a Grant from the County of Nantucket to the
Town of Nantucket. Mr. Atherton moved to re-appropriate $700,000 from the County to the Town in
the form of a grant for the public safety facility; seconded by Mr. Reinhard. All in favor, so voted.
Request for Execution of Grant Agreement with Town of Nantucket for $700,000 for Public Safety
Facility. Mr. Reinhard moved to execute the grant agreement with the Town for $700,000 for the
public safety facility; seconded by Mr. Atherton. All in favor, so voted.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:03 PM.
