COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Minutes of the Meeting of 27 May 2009. The meeting took place in the Court Room, Town and
County Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Commission present
were Rick Atherton, Brian Chadwick, Michael Kopko, Allen Reinhard, and Patricia Roggeveen.
Chairman Chadwick called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES, WARRANTS AND PENDING CONTRACTS
Approval of Minutes of 1 April 2009 and 22 April 2009. The minutes of 1 April 2009 and 22 April
2009 were approved by the unanimous consent of the meeting.
Approval of Payroll and Treasury Warrants for May 2009. The payroll and treasury warrants for the
month of May 2009 were approved by unanimous consent of the meeting.
OFFICIAL BUSINESS
Annual Appointment of County Commissioner Representative to Nantucket Planning & Economic
Development Commission. Mr. Kopko nominated Mr. Atherton. Ms. Roggeveen nominated herself.
The vote for Mr. Atherton as County Commissioner representative to the NP&EDC was 3 to 2 with
Mr. Kopko, Mr. Reinhard, and Mr. Atherton in favor and Ms. Roggeveen and Mr. Chadwick
opposed. So voted to appoint Mr. Atherton as NP&EDC representative.

None.
The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:03 PM.
