Minutes of the Meeting of 28 May 2008 at 6:00 PM. The meeting took place in the Town and
County Building, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Commission present
were Brian Chadwick, Patricia Roggeveen, Rick Atherton, Allen Reinhard and Michael Kopko.
Chairman Chadwick called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM, following a meeting of the Board of
Health.
Approval of Payroll and Treasury Warrants for May 2008. The payroll and treasury warrants for the
Month of May 2008 were approved by unanimous consent of the meeting.
Appointment of County Commissioner Representative to Nantucket Planning & Economic
Development Commission. Mr. Reinhard nominated Mr. Kopko to be the County Commission
representative to the Nantucket Planning & Economic Development Commission (NP&EDC);
seconded by Ms. Roggeveen. Mr. Atherton nominated himself; seconded by Mr. Reinhard. Via roll
call vote, Mr. Atherton received his own vote. Mr. Kopko was elected to serve as the
Commission’s representative to NP&EDC receiving votes from Ms. Roggeveen, Mr. Reinhard and
himself. Mr. Atherton was opposed and Chairman Chadwick abstained.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.
