HomeMy WebLinkAboutCounty Commission Minutes 11-282007_201402051727261660COUNTY COMMISSION Minutes of the Meeting of 28 November 2007 at 6:00 PM. The meeting took place in the Court Room, Town and County Building, Nantucket, MA 02554. Members of the Commission present were Michael Kopko, Allen Reinhard, Whiting Willauer and Patricia Roggeveen. Brian Chadwick was absent. Vice Chairman Roggeveen called the meeting to order at 6:37 PM immediately following a Board of Health meeting. Announcements/Public Comment. None. Approval of Payroll and Treasury Warrants for November 2007. The Commission approved the warrants by unanimous consent. COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR/COMMISSIONERS REPORT Request for Approval of Revisions to Funding Sources for FY 2008 County Budget. County Administrator C. Elizabeth Gibson explained the need for revisions, which had to do with a request from the state County Government Finance Review Board to reduce the anticipated deeds excise revenue estimate. Some discussion followed. Mr. Kopko moved to approve the revised FY 2008 County budget by reducing the anticipated deeds excise revenue projection from approximately $2.2m to $1.7m; Mr. Reinhard seconded, so voted unanimously. The meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:44 PM. Approved the 26th day of December 2007.
