I. Correspondence: Chuck Hodgkinson, RE: Legislation and Hearings for the CPA; Maria
Zodda to Susan Witte, RE: $60,000 AHTF (2/9/11); Maria Zodda to Susan Witte, RE:
Unspent funds regarding the Easton Street Move, AHTF (5/16/11); Maria Zodda to
Susan Witte, RE: Easton Street house move, AHTF (6/2/11); Susan Witte to Ken
Beaugrand, RE: Easton Street house move, AHTH (6/3/11) . TON office of the
Town & County Clerk : Letter of the guarantee of funds needed from the CPC to go
forward with the purchase of equipment for upgrading Town Clerks Records.

Old Business CPC COMMUNITY OUTREACH
1. Establish a Nantucket CPC Website
Include board members, project/pictures, procedures and policies
2. Create Events: …..Have to be there!!!
Tie‐In Tours/ Showcase/ Ribbon Cutting
i.e.: first game on new fields, dedication of renovated Church
3. Issue Press Releases
Routinely submit project details to newspaper, status updates
i.e.: contract just signed for fields
4. Signage Placed on the site of Major projects
Produce CPC sign
i.e.: "Project Funded by your Community Preservation
Committee….Working with you for a Better Nantucket …..Your tax Dollars at
Work"
5. CPC Board members report to their Committees
Routinely advise/report to the various boards the issues/status of CPC
6. Engage Community
I. 7. Build a sense of Pride. Establish partnerships… work with an intern/ tech
student from NHS
II. New Business: PUBLIC FORUM FOR OUR AUGUST MEETING!!!! AS OF
YESTERDAY THE ROOM CAN BE AVAILABLE TO US BEFORE OR AFTER
OUR REGULAR MEETING ON AUGUST 16, 1011.
