Witte – Mr. Beaugrand welcomed Ms. Witte to the meeting. Ms. Witte spoke on her request for $4,700 from the administrative budget of the CPC to fund the cost of the grant writer for the homeowner renovation program. She said this will be a co-application with the town of Falmouth, therefore the money requested is half the amount being charged to write this grant. She informed the committee that she came to us because she was told that in the past the town of Falmouth went to their CPC to get the funding. After a long discussion Mr. Beaugrand asked Ms. Witte if she had any other source of funding for this money. Ms. Witte replied that she could get the funding from the NP&EDC. After a long discussion on this item Mr. Beaugrand stated that they have had a fair discussion and would entertain a motion that CPC would agree to fund $4,700 to the consultant in connection with the application to the state for the federal housing grant. Ms. Williams made the motion which was seconded by Mr. Moore. The vote was yes 2 (Ms. Williams and Mr. Rector), and no 6 (Mr. Moore, Mr. Brescher, Mr. Brannigan, Mr. DeCosta, Mr. Voigt, and Mr. Beaugrand). There was another brief discussion about this item. Mr. Brannigan asked if the grant for AHTF could come out of the $60,000 that AHTF are receiving in three increments from the failed Eastern Street house move. Ms. Witte stated that she did not know if these funds were allowable for that given that they were intended to be part of a program by the trust for housing. Ms. Williams made a motion to allow AHTF to spend the $4,700 for this purpose. The motion was seconded. A positive vote taken which was unanimous. This discussion was recorded on tape and will be held with the file in the CPC Office. Fund Requisitions: A motion was made by Ms. Williams to pay Fund Requisitions A - J.
