CORRESPONDENCE: Nantucket Land Council, Cormac Collier. Dreamland Foundation, RE: Request on information from MHC GUESTS: Yes. Purpose of Meeting: Second round of decisions for FUNDING for our FY ’12 warrant. Mr. Brannigan opened the meeting by allowing (for the purpose of those who were absent during the last meeting) further discussions on the Restoration of the American-LaFrance Fire Truck and the Affordable Housing Trust Fund which had gotten a negative votes during the first round on October 22, 2010. Reopen for Discussion Restore the 1937 American-LaFrance Fire Truck, $160,000 Motion to discuss by Ms Williams seconded by Mr. Voigt. Vote for funding YES: Moore, Williams, Voigt; NO: Beaugrand, Kopko, Rector, Zodda, Brannigan Project did not pass Affordable Housing Trust Fund, $600,000 Motion to discuss by Mr. Kopko seconded by Ms Williams. Vote for funding YES: Rector, William, Kopko, Voigt; NO: Zodda, Moore, Brannigan, Beaugrand Project did not pass Mr. Kopko left meeting at 2:45PM Projects with Positive Recommendation to be funded with revenues totaling: $2,439,100… Raised and Appropriated from FY 2012 Community Preservation Surcharge $1,738,00. Open Space Conservation/Recreation Town of Nantucket Public Access to open space and acquisition fund for properties, Phase 3 $150,000 Motion to fund by Rector seconded by Moore YES: Beaugrand, Brannigan, Moore, Zodda, Voigt, Williams, Rector NO: - Nantucket Land Council Restoration of water quality in Head of Hummock Pond for years 1 & 2 $75,561 Motion to fund by Williams seconded by Beaugrand YES: Beaugrand, Brannigan, Moore, Zodda, Voigt, Williams, Rector NO: - Nantucket Park and Recreation Commission Creation of entry and parking for multi use field complex on Nobadeer Farm Road, phase 3 (The applicant prioritized this phase of the project over the Nobadeer Field Complex- Field House). $300,068 Motion to fund by Williams seconded by Moore YES: Beaugrand, Brannigan, Moore, Zodda, Voigt, Williams, Rector NO: - Sub-total $525,629 All funds to be used in this category are from the Community Preservation surcharge and the State matching funds.
