CALL TO ORDER
Approval of Agenda:
Approval of Minutes: August 17, 2010
CORRESPONDENCE: Copy of the Contract between the Town and Clough Harbour and
Associates, LLP (Contractor, for the Nobadeer Farm Playing Fields).
GUESTS: Charles Bartlett, Property Mgr. for Park and Rec. Mr. Brannigan commented
that the Town and Park and Rec. did a superior job on the fields at Delta. Mr. Brannigan
than asked Mr. Bartlett if the contractor, Clough Harbour, will also be the same
contractor who will be doing the last two fields when they are ready to be put in, and was
told that it will have to go out to bid again. Mr. Voigt wanted it made clear that the
monies presently funded for this project does not go towards artificial fields, its studies,
or any other information pertaining to artificial fields. Mr. Whitcomb said he was not
concerned about the small extra cost for information on the artificial turf. Mr. Bartlett
left the meeting at 3:40pm. Rev. Snell came to talk about the timeline on the building of
the center and housing for the Nantucket Human Service Center (NHSC) project. She
indicated that the NHSC will write the timeline into the contract and get it back to the
BOS and Mr. Kopko was asked by Mr. Beaugrand to check with town counsel on the
mechanics of this contract so this stage can come to a conclusion. Rev. Snell left the
meeting at 4:51pm

A-F. A motion to pay by Mr. Kopko, seconded by Ms Williams, positive vote
followed. Mr. Richen was instructed to make sure the request from the Dreamland
was brought to the next meeting. There was a discussion about the Dreamland
being subjected to the deed restriction, because this grant was subject to a deed
restriction being in place. If the Deed Restriction is not in place then only 50% of
the grant can be given out.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: The following dates have been secured for interviews with the grant
applicants: September 27th(Monday), 30th(Thursday), and October 1st(Friday).
OTHER BUSINESS:
ADJOURNMENT: Motion to adjourn made by Mr. Whitcomb and seconded by Ms
Williams.
