Minutes of Tuesday, September 3, 2019
A meeting of the Nantucket Water Commission was held on Tuesday, September 3,
2019 at the offices of the Wannacomet Water Company, 1 Milestone Road, Nantucket,
Massachusetts.
Commissioners present: Commissioners Allen Reinhard, Nonie Slavitz and Nelson
Eldridge were present. Commissioners absent: None. Staff & Guests: Mark Willett -
Director, Linda Roberts, Projects Administrator, Denese Allen - Assistant Business
Manager, Ken Beaugrand, Town of Nantucket Real Estate Specialist.
1. Meeting Called to Order: The meeting was called to order at 8:00 AM.
2. Acceptance of Easement for extending water line in Madaket
(Columbus/Midland): The Chair requested a motion. Commissioner Reinhard made
a motion to accept and sign the grant of 16 easements to the Town of Nantucket,
acting by and through the Board of Nantucket Water Commissioners from the
owners of the following properties: 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19 and 21
Columbus Avenue; 12 and 14 Midland Avenue; and 5 Goose Cove Avenue.
Commissioner Slavitz seconded the motion and motion was accepted by unanimous
consent. Notary, Linda Roberts, presented the easement documents to the
Commissioners for signature and notarization.

4. Director's Comment: None.
5. Commissioner's comments and reserved for unforeseen items for discussion by
the Chair: None.
9. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Commission,
motion was made to adjourn the meeting. This motion was made by Commissioner
Reinhard, seconded by Commissioner Slavitz and unanimously voted to adjourn at 8:25
AM.
