The first set of plans show an access road with a turning circle that has a radius of 200’ from the centerline. This is the minimum radius required for “minor” streets pursuant to the Nantucket Planning Board’s design standards for streets as set forth in Section 4.03e of its rules and regulations. The second set of plans shows an access road with a turning circle that has a radius of 300’ from the centerline. This is the minimum radius required for “secondary” streets by the Planning Board’s same design standards. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
