At 4 PM today there is a Con Com hearing on the application filed by the Town and SBPF to wall off a
portion of the bluff herewith geotubes and other details. The result of this effort is an unknown, as everyone is well aware.
I can not be present today but I ask you to let BOS members know that as a long-time, year-roundSconset resident, I am not in favor of these measures.
My reasons are :1. the unknown impact on neighbors and the known ensuing erosion to the north and south of theproposed installations.2. if it comes to regular trucking of sand dumped over the bluff, --what a nasty and damaging paradethat would be!
