Topic: Meeting approval Danny – moved to approve minutes (11/3/2011) from last meeting Campbell – seconded All – accepted *Dylan mentioned he would add all previous minutes to the website. Topic: Cover letter to BOS re: our work plan Amy – moved to approve Campbell – seconded All – approved Topic: Work Plan Danny – motion to accept revised work plan Campbell – seconded All – approved *Dylan will send letter plus work plan to the BOS. We will be told when we should show up to a BOS meeting. Topic: Press Release, ready to be sent at any time Campbell: move to accept press release Dylan – second All – approved Amy volunteered to take over as Secretary for Morgan Beryl who has left Nantucket
Topic: Amy volunteered to take over as Secretary Campbell: motion to accept Danny/Daine - approved All - accepted Topic: Ag Fair Need more people to form a non-profit to run the fair Town pays for tents, fair pays town back No reason for the Ag Commission to get involved. Topic: Right to Farm Bylaw Per Cormac Collier – Contact Andrew Vorst, Planning Director Conflict resolutionis going to be very important to create. *Get a conversation going with Andrew re: current zoning laws. After work plan is approved we can move forward with plan like the Right to Farm Bylaw. Topic: Winter Schedules Danny gone 12/19 – 1/3 Campbell gone 1/17 – 2/15 Dylan gone 1/10 – 1/25 Topic: Future Meetings If we make it on the BOS agenda then Jan 4 @ 6:45 at Bartlett’s If not, then Feb. 22 @ 6:45 at Bartlett’s Morgan will send in a letter of resignation then we can move forward with getting new members. *Think about possible candidates.
