2. Updates:
a. Ray Owen has stepped down from the commission and
Morgan B. has been selected to fill his seat. Morgan works for
Sustainable Nantucket as its agricultural coordinator.
b. Dane DeCarlo appointment?
c. First agenda & meeting minutes posted on-line.
3. On-going Discussion:
a. Agriculture list has been updated to include our known
growers & animal caregivers.
b. Ag. Survey has been edited…vote to approve
c. Ethics training; Go to mass.gov/ethics to complete the online
training. You will need to print a copy of the certificate upon
completion and bring it to the town clerk.
4. Discussion of Ideas / Concerns / Future Objectives:
a. Begin to compile Work Plan; look over examples of other
Agricultural groups and identify goals for Nantucket.
b. Agricultural Community Dinner/Lunch; Date, location,
agenda?
5. Choose next meeting date & time, discuss the coming
spring / summer season for meetings.
6. Adjourn
