Preliminary Agenda
1. Call to order.
2. Review and approve preliminary agenda.
3. Review and approve minutes of the meeting of September 21, 2010.
4. Chair’s comments and announcements; comments from members of the workgroup.
5. Develop and assemble Article 68 Home Rule Petition (HRP) document as first
recommendation to BOS.
A. Best Management Plan.
i. Review and approve draft BMP document;
ii. Decide how to insert language referencing BMP into Article 68 HRP.
Potential locations in Article 68:
a. Standards of Performance.
b. Exemptions.
c. Education and licensure (newly expanded Section 6.).
B. Educational requirements, Testing, Licensing, and Certification
i. Discuss recommendations.
ii. Develop article 68 HRP language on requirements to go into new
sections at “placeholder, Section 6:”
a. on educational requirements,
b. on testing and licensing,
c. on enforcement, and
d. on penalties.
C. Decide if we add public education language to Article 68 HRP.
D. Other regulatory issues suggested by the Group.
E. Review completed Article 68 Draft HRP and vote on complete draft HRP
6. Review changes needed for BOH regulation; Vote on BOH regulation as second
recommendation to BOS
7. Brief discussion of items to include in the next agenda: meeting of October 19th.
8. Adjourn
