Turbitt received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The award means that we have excelled in our financial reporting, and committed to providing a much more in-depth and transparent financial report. The award is difficult to achieve and prior to issuance, undergoes a stringent review process. In Massachusetts, there are approximately 26 communities that have received the award. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in government accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. Great work Brian and staff!
