The Vote was challenged, citing possible confusion about who was counting whom. Town Counsel advised the Moderator to refer the matter to the Town Clerk in order for her to confer with theTellers. It was determined that there was no confusion, citing that there had been no problems with the previous handcount votes. The count was declared to stand. The Moderator recognized BOS Chairman Whitey Willauer for the purposes of moving dissolution of the 2006 Special Town Meeting. It was moved, and seconded. A Voice Vote was taken. The 2006 Special Town Meeting was dissolved at 9:56 PM, by Unanimous Voice Vote. Winning tickets for the Glamorous Door prizes (gift baskets of Movie DVD’s and popcorn) were drawn by Chairman Willauer, and Town Counsel.
