February 11, 2015
Attending: Deborah Timmermann, chair; Phil Gallagher; Diane Coombs; Michael May.
Ms. Timmermann called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m.
A motion was made to approve the agenda and was unanimously approved.
Minutes from January 14 were tabled until a quorum of those attending could be present to
review/approve.
It was noted that the January 28th meeting was not held due to the weather.
Questions for Oral History Review: There was no report.
Nantucket Cottage Hospital: A summary of the hospital project was discussed to update members. The
warrant article includes some zoning changes for the neighborhood. There was general discussion that
the project on its current site is the correct way to proceed to ensure protection of historic resources.
Other Issues:
- The chair informed members that there are notices in the I&M regarding the bike path. Questions arose
as to how this changes the project and if the NHC needs to comment per the public notice. The chair will
investigate and report back to the members.
-A discussion about the HDC articles followed. It is unclear the status but it was reported that the town
articles are not going forward but the citizen’s article about continuing the election of the members is
expected to proceed.
The meeting adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
