Minutes
Meeting: Monday, Monday, July 16, 2012 at 3:15 PM in the DPW conference room
Attending: Kara Buzanoski, DPW Director
Charlie Stott, Madaket Homeowners Association
Ken Giles, Madaket Conservation Association
Also in attendance: Bruce Perry, Laurentide Environmental
Diane Holdgate, DPW Office Administrator
1) RPF/IFB:
The Committee discussed the mosquito treatment program with Bruce Perry. He
has not begun testing or treating. Fortunately it has been a dry spring/summer, so the
mosquitoes have not been bad. He will begin within 2 weeks. Diane noted that she will
pull out Peter Brady’s old list of locations to get to Bruce so there will be continuity of
locations.
Discussion also continued on the press release, magnets and brochures to be given
to the Madaket Associations who will be meeting in the next 2 weeks. Charlie had
previously e-mailed the press release. It was approved for release to the paper. Kara will
send it to the Inquirer & Mirror.
2) Legislation:
There was no discussion on this item.
The minutes were not available for approval.
Meeting was adjourned at 3:50 pm.
Next meeting is September 10, 2012 at 3pm in the DPW conference room.
