Minutes
Meeting: Monday, June 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Town Hall conference room
Attending: Kara Buzanoski, DPW Director
Charlie Stott, Madaket Homeowners Association
Ken Giles, Madaket Conservation Association
1) RPF/IFB:
The Committee discussed the right of entry forms to allow Laurentide to enter
onto private property to test and treat for mosquitoes.
The Committee discussed Scope of Services for the next RFP: to design and
implement the Mosquito Control program for Nantucket, create an Integrated Pest
Management program, create program schedule, define proscribed actions to implement
program schedule, designate chemicals and dosages for treatment, and incorporate public
health protocols and requirements.
The Commission then discussed the education component. Charlie will draft a
press release. Ken will work on a refrigerator magnet. Kara will post the brochure online
and correct the right of entry form.
2) Legislation:
There was nothing to report on this item.
The minutes from the last meeting May 21, 2012 were approved.
Meeting was adjourned at 3:50 pm.
Next meeting is June 25, 2012 at 3pm in the Town Hall conference room.
