Mosquito Advisory Committee
Minutes
Meeting: Monday, April 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Town Hall Conference Room
Attending: John Smith, D.P.W.
Helene Weld, Board of Health
Ken Giles, Madaket Conservation Association
Charlie Stott, Madaket Homeowners Association

- Awarding of the Bid was discussed. The Committee unanimous voted to award to Laurentide.
Bid tabulation is attached.
-Regarding the next RFP, Helene will contact Gabby at Cape Cod Mosquito Control regarding
finding an Entomologist to set up Nantucket’s program.
-John Smith will find out what monies are available to do the second RFP.
-Ken and Charlie will continue to work together on the educational flyer.
-John will check on supply of B.T.I. at the D.P.W. and check on the expiration date.
-Ken will get information on the Madaket association meeting on 21st including the Speaker
Minutes adopted with correction of Civic association meeting date change from 24th to 21st.
Meeting adjourned 3:35 P.M.
Next meeting is scheduled for May 21, 2012 at 4pm at the Atheneum.
